Consisting mostly of water, our body is in its element in water. By simply adjusting the amount of air in our lungs we can choose to either float in stillness, swim on the surface or dive into the depths. However respect for the water and safety are vital.

The best aquatic programs help children become competent through swimming skills and safety behaviours in and around water, whilst providing continuous parent education and support. Very small class sizes mean more individual time, attention and activities with your teacher. This may speed learning, increase your enjoyment and enhance parental skills.

The atmosphere in all classes is relaxed, positive, supportive and fun, where everyone is encouraged to be open and honest to share their ideas, attitudes and concerns. Classes are planned to be developmentally advantageous but also need flexibility, with activities allowing for progression. Water massage is also used in class - it involves gentle rocking movements with muscles being massaged and moved so that tissues stretch, which helps relaxation.
