All parents/families and guardians need to be aware of these policies: they help us all enjoy an easy business experience.

Payment Policy

Full Course Payment is required in advance (before the first class), Payment is accepted with cash, credit card or cheque. If your cheque bounces, you will be liable for all fees charged.

Rescheduling and Make-up Policy

Aquatics Blocks are short 4 week blocks so you can easily plan ahead. If you simply miss a class, you will not be refunded. However, there are many valid reasons for missing a class so if you cancel before 7am on your class day, you will be gifted a free Make-up class. ONE free make-up class allowed per block - valid for that one block only. Make-up classes are available during an “update week” unless you are advised otherwise.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you have to stop aquatics, you must give one week’s notice. You have the option of being refunded the value of the classes remaining (minus the value of one week’s class) or using the remaining money as a ‘credit’ to use on this business’ services.

Photography Policy

During some classes the teacher will use a waterproof camera to take photos. At your first class, we ask for written approval to take these photos. You can photograph your own child but you cannot photograph anyone else without their permission.

Showers, Swim Nappies and Caps

Keeping the pool water sparkling clean is absolutely essential so all children and adults must shower before entering the pool. All children under 3 years must wear a swim nappy plus another set of swimmers over the top of the swim nappy. Children over 3 years must wear swimming caps during class.

Aquatics Schedule

Our unique schedule is designed to make your life easier. It provides flexibility and means you are not locked into paying for one huge swimming term! It is based around the standard School Terms but we break each term down further into 2 blocks of 4-week classes. Block classes mean your class is secured for a specific day and time over four weeks. Our small block classes promote intense learning so one class a week is ideal as children learn well with repetition and practice and regularly being in water. For the remaining weeks during a school term, we do several “update“ weeks between our regular blocks. During an “Update Week” many things can happen including Orientation and assessments for any new students joining, any Make-Up classes from the 4 week block students, any Intensive Classes for current and new clients (2 or 4 class options may be available in the one week) and current clients can also opt for a free one-week break from class.
